My professional partnership evolution began in 1981 when I was involved in helping Parks Canad (our national parks service) to establish some of the first partnerships with this important Canadian institution. My work in partnerships continued to infuse all of my professional work. Then in 2012 I took the Partnership Brokers Association training courses—a comprehensive and transformative program that provided me with the skills to navigate and teach the complexity of collaborations. This training established a robust foundation, enabling me to facilitate effective communication between potential partners and foster an environment conducive to successful alliances.

Incorporating this program, now rebranded as Heroic Coach program into my professional journey marked a significant turning point. The program's training materials, brimming with practical wisdom and actionable advice, served as a catalyst, accelerating my career progression. The innovative and transformative curriculum allowed me to view partnerships through a fresh, innovative lens, challenging traditional methodologies.
